Job summary

AssistRx, Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator in Overland Park, KS to serve as the first point of contact for patients, caregivers and team members, triaging inquiries and gathering information for the pharmacy team.

You will also arrange shipping materials, coordinate with pharmacy technicians, document pertinent data, and escalate clinically oriented decisions to pharmacists as needed. Excellent communication and strong computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Receive and triage inbound phone calls.
• Receive and complete scheduling calls via dialer or outbound queues. Gather demographics, plan information, patient history and other data and document in pharmacy application as necessary.
• Contacting physicians for missing or required information.
• Processes document intake queue for pharmacy technician processing.
• Prepares shipping materials for packing stations
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
• Identify and report adverse events pursuant to program requirements.
• Identify, document, and report safety information.
