AssistRx, Inc. is seeking a licensed Pharmacist in Overland Park, KS to oversee daily pharmacy operations and supervise technicians.

The role focuses on processing non-commercial prescriptions for Free Product Programs and ensuring compliance with Kansas Pharmacy laws. You will evaluate physician orders for clinical appropriateness, provide patient counseling, and monitor safety information while coordinating with physicians, patients, and call center staff.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist with the Kansas Board of Pharmacy.
• 2-4 years of Retail, Mail or Specialty Pharmacy experience preferred.
• Computer skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office, Teams).

Responsabilités

• Oversee dispensing of Free Products.
• Receive physician prescription orders and evaluate for clinical appropriateness and validity according to Kansas State Board of Pharmacy.
• Identify, document and report safety information.
• Supervise Pharmacy Technicians.
• Communicate with physicians' offices, patients, and call center staff.
• Provide patient counseling, education and monitoring for Rx product.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Work schedule delegated by the Pharmacist-In-Charge.
• Identify and report adverse events pursuant to program requirements.
