Northwest Specialty Hospital in Post Falls seeks a detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator for its Family Medicine Team. You will handle registration, pre-registration, and patient communications to ensure smooth service flow.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
• Ability to relate and work effectively with others.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service background.
• Prior clerical or medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register and pre-register patients to ensure smooth service flow.
• Prepare pre-registration packets for procedures.
• Ensure copies of documentation are obtained to facilitate billing and collections.
• Process co-pays and payments; update medical records.
• Back up all incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate person/department.
• Perform nightly closing procedures for the clinic.
• Call patients for pre-registration notifications including copays and deductibles.
