Job summary

Peak Physical Therapy in Moscow, Idaho is hiring a Full Time Front Desk Medical Receptionist. You will be the first voice and face for patients, responsible for check-in/out, scheduling, insurance verification, and phone inquiries in a fast-paced clinic.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable communicating on the phone with professionalism.
• Basic computer skills for scheduling, emails, and spreadsheets.
• Training provided for EMR navigation, insurance fundamentals, and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients, visitors, and referral sources.
• Manage front desk operations including patient check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, and phone calls.
• Review, schedule, and follow up on incoming referrals; update patient records and explain next steps.
• Keep patient flow moving by confirming appointments, managing waitlists, and handling cancellations.
• Collect copays and other payments, maintaining accurate records and reconciling when needed.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy standards in all interactions and documentation.
