Job summary

Peak Physical Therapy is hiring a Full Time Front Desk Medical Receptionist for its Moscow, Idaho clinic. You will be the first voice and face, delivering a warm, organized patient experience while handling check-in, scheduling, insurance verification, and billing support.

No healthcare background is required; prior customer-facing work is valuable. Comprehensive training is provided and growth within the clinic is encouraged.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year in a customer-facing or patient-facing role.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while staying organized and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable communicating on the phone with patients and callers.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients, visitors, and referral sources.
• Manage front desk operations: check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, and phone calls.
• Review and schedule referrals, update patient records, and explain next steps to patients.
• Keep patient flow by confirming appointments, managing waitlists, and handling cancellations.
• Collect copays and balances professionally, with basic payment tracking.
• Uphold HIPAA standards in all interactions and documentation.
