Job summary

PacMed Clinics DBA Pacific Medical Centers in Seattle is seeking a courteous front desk receptionist to support primary care and specialty departments. You will manage referrals, registrations, scheduling, scanning, and customer service, ensuring a smooth patient flow.

Responsibilities include answering phones, greeting visitors, handling co-pays, and coordinating multiple same-day appointments across disciplines. Interpreter services are arranged as needed to support diverse patients.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a medical/healthcare setting or 2 years experience in a customer service role.
• 6 months recent receptionist or front desk experience.
• Preferred: 3 months related experience (recurring appointments).
• Preferred: experience with medical terminology and basic medical record processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient referrals, patient registration where applicable, and patient scheduling.
• Scan documents and provide clerical support; answer phones and greet visitors.
• Handle co-pay collections; order and maintain office supplies; back-up support as needed.
• Coordinate multiple same-day appointments across different disciplines; arrange interpreter services when needed.
