Qualifications

• Check patients in and out accurately and efficiently.
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments.
• Verify patient demographic and insurance information accurately.
• Collect copays, balances and other patient balances accordingly.
• Answer phones and respond to patient questions in a professional and timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recall efforts and appointment outreach.
• Communicate effectively with doctors, technicians, opticians, and other team members to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Assist with resolving patient concerns while maintaining a professional and compassionate approach.
• Support team with additional administrative duties as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow all applicable HIPAA and company policies.
• Pull insurance verification and/or authorizations when needed.
