Job summary

HearingLife is hiring a Patient Care Coordinator for our Little River, SC clinics. You will be the face of the retail clinics and support revenue goals by managing appointments, intake, and patient interactions with a focus on excellent service.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities, plus comfort with EMR and scheduling software in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
  • 1–2 years in customer service, admin, or healthcare-related role.
  • Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome all patients and maintain high level of customer service.
  • Inbound and outbound phone calls, 50–75 per day.
  • Schedule and confirm all patient appointments.
  • PPI intake and processing.
  • Collect and verify medical insurance information.
  • Order and receive office supplies; payment processing.
  • Manage hearing aid supplies inventory; maintain cleanliness.
  • Adhere to HIPAA standards and privacy guidelines.

Responsibilities

You will act as the face of our retail clinics located around the country and in local communities. The Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) strives to ensure a positive patient experience and to help more people hear better. You do this by supporting the clinic to achieve revenue goals by attracting new patients, managing the administrative and operational functions and coordinating patient interactions and needs.

Daily Tasks:
  • Welcome all patients and maintain high level of customer service

  • Schedule & confirm all patient appointments

Qualifications
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a customer service, administrative, or healthcare-related role.
Skills and Abilities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable using technology, including scheduling software and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
