Barbour Orthopaedics is seeking an experienced Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. You will be the main contact for patients, managing appointments, documenting interactions, and coordinating with clinical staff to ensure treatment plans are carried out smoothly.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail to deliver exceptional patient care and maintain accurate records in our system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of two years in a medical or customer service role preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 and familiar with patient management systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for patients, ensuring they receive timely information about appointments and treatments.
• Oversee scheduling and rescheduling of patient appointments.
• Conduct follow‑up calls to confirm appointments and address questions.
• Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and treatment progress.
• Work with the clinical team to ensure patient treatment plans are executed.
• Address and resolve patient issues promptly to maintain satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Report weekly metrics to the Practice Manager.

• Serve as the main point of contact for patients, ensuring they receive timely and accurate information regarding their appointments, treatment plans, and any other needs.
• Oversee the scheduling and rescheduling of patient appointments, ensuring that all scheduling is completed efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Conduct follow‑up calls with patients to confirm appointments, check on their status, and address any questions or concerns they may have.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of patient interactions, appointments, and treatment progress within the patient management system.
• Work closely with the clinical team to ensure that patient treatment plans are executed effectively and that any patient‑specific requirements are met.
• Address and resolve any patient issues or concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of patient satisfaction.
• Ensure that all patient interactions comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
• Report weekly metrics on patient interactions, appointment statuses, and any issues to the Practice Manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a medical or customer service role is preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 and familiar with patient management systems.
