OhioHealth in Columbus is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to support licensed clinicians on an ICU unit. You will help with daily living activities, manage order entries, transfers, discharges, and maintain patient charts and room readiness. You will also assist visitors and ensure safe, clean environments while collaborating with the care team.

The role emphasizes patient safety, documentation accuracy, and compassionate patient interactions within a high-reliability hospital setting.

Qualificações

• High School or GED required.
• 16- and 17-year-old individuals may be considered with a valid work permit.

Responsabilidades

• Assist unit receptionist duties, help visitors and staff with information needs.
• Enter orders into hospital system and process STAT/NOW orders immediately.
• Assist with patient transfers, admissions, discharges, and charting.
• Support daily living activities, maintain cleanliness, safety, and supply levels.
• Collect vital signs and document intake/output using portable devices.
