Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support RNs on a designated medical unit during day shifts. You will help with daily living activities, monitor patients, and ensure a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 16- or 17-year-old applicants may be considered with a valid work permit.
• Ability to perform activities of daily living for patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating, mobility) and support patient comfort.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of patient rooms, unit, and equipment.
• Assist in telemetry monitoring and communicate urgent changes to licensed staff.
• Transport patients and run unit errands as needed by the care team.
• Collect data (vital signs, intake/output) and document accurately using portable devices.
• Support visitors and staff with information and coordinate basic care tasks.
