Job summary

MD Now Urgent Care in Florida is seeking a Patient Care Representative who champions patient care and supports a busy team. You will handle patient check-in, answer calls, verify insurance, and assist with demographics and paperwork to ensure smooth visits.

As part of a physician-led network, the role emphasizes strong customer service, proficiency with multiple computer programs, and willingness to travel between MD Now locations within the assigned area.

Qualifications

• 1 year of clinical experience in a patient care setting preferred.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start required.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work with multiple computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Check-in patients in a timely manner and follow Web Check-in procedures.
• Answer clinic phone calls and provide information or referrals as needed.
• Verify insurance in a timely and accurate manner.
• Follow occupational client’s preference card and procedures.
• Review patient paperwork for completeness and obtain necessary insurance/demographic information.
• Complete Daily Balance Checklist after each shift with all forms of payment documented.
• Willing to travel/float between MD Now locations within assigned area.
