Job summary

Vitruvian Health is seeking an aide to support licensed nursing staff in delivering care to patients of all ages under RN direction. The role involves working with pediatric to geriatric patients in a fast-paced acute care setting.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, CPR certification, and basic typing and computer skills, with patient-service experience preferred. Flexibility for weekends and shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate or certified equivalent.
• Licensure: Current CPR required
• Experience: Prior experience in same or similar position is desirable.
• Background in medical related field preferred.
• Skills: Basic typing and computer skills. Telephone etiquette and customer service skills. Medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists licensed Nursing staff in providing care to patients of all ages under the direction of the Registered Nurse and within the scope of defined practice.

Required to work flexible schedule including weekends. Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 pounds. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Requires working under stressful conditions.
