Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Clinic Call Center Representative in Corvallis, OR. This full-time role follows an office-based schedule with 1–2 in-office days per week at the Corvallis clinic, located at 3680 NW Samaritan Dr, Corvallis, OR 97330.

Hours are 8:00am–5:00pm CST, Monday–Friday, with training aligned to your schedule. You will answer inbound calls, verify insurance, book appointments, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Experience with computers and Windows-based programs.
• Ability to work full-time Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm CST.

Responsibilities

• Take inbound calls, routes of calls/tasks, books appointments, and verifies patient insurance coverage.
• Provide excellent customer service as a representative of the Corvallis Clinic.
• Responsible for making patients and their needs a primary focus; ensure efficient responses to inquiries.
• Utilize system policies and procedures to meet patient needs and facilitate solutions.
• Communicate effectively with customers, staff, and Providers.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department and with clinical staff.
• Contact medical office staff or provider promptly when an acutely ill patient calls in.
• Maintain confidentiality of the Corvallis Clinic's customers and data.
• Use technology as directed and within established guidelines.
