Job summary

Mercy in Fort Smith, AR seeks a dedicated Patient Care Associate (PCA) to support patient care under RN or LPN supervision. The role includes vitals, daily living activities, and mobility assistance, with room for advancement to PCT and beyond.

Mercy provides a 175-hour training pathway if no prior experience, plus BLS within one month. This on-site position features full-time days, 36 hours weekly, and a strong emphasis on teamwork and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or enrolled in healthcare program.
• CNA/CPTC enrollment or completion preferred.
• No prior healthcare experience required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs and document into EMR system.
• Assist with meals, bathing, toileting, ambulation and mobility.
• Provide clerical support as needed.
• Phlebotomy, wound care, and IV/ Foley removal as applicable.
