Mercy is hiring a Patient Care Associate/Patient Care Technician for 7D day and night shifts. The program includes accredited DOL apprenticeship training, with a 175-hour training for new hires and 90-day completion expectations. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required; CNA/CPTC preferred.
• Experience: None required.
• Physical: ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for shifts.
• BLS certification within 1 month of hire.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs and document into EMR.
• Assist with patient care including meals, bathing, toileting, ambulation, and transport.
• Phlebotomy/blood cultures, enteral feeding, wound care, IV/Foley removal, and suctioning as PCT duties.
