Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent).
• Certificate of completion of a Medical Assistant/Patient Care Associate program with venipuncture and EKG skills.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate with care teams.
• Documentation of Medical Assistant/Patient Care Associate training.
• Healthcare experience (0–9 months) preferred.
• English language proficiency for communication.
• Physical stamina and manual dexterity for patient care tasks.
• BLS/ Heartsaver certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and ambulation.
• Perform and record vital signs and intake/output data.
• Assist RN with procedures and patient care activities.
• Support dietary functions and meal delivery at bedside.
• Maintain safe, clean patient environment and equipment.
• Transport patients and specimens as required.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with policies.
