Job summary

Mercy Health System is seeking a Nurse Assistant to provide direct patient care to all ages under the supervision of a licensed nurse, following established guidelines, Mercy's Goals and Code of Conduct.

Education: None; Licensure: None; Certifications: current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or course completion within probation; Preferred Education: Nurse Assistant training or experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within probation period.
• Preferred successful completion of a recognized Nurse Assistant training course and/or possesses a significant amount of Nurse Assistant experience.
• Position requires ability to push, pull, and lift 50 lbs; prolonged standing and walking; and ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist and squat.
