UF Health is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to provide direct patient care and supportive services under the supervision of an RN. The PCA helps deliver safe, patient-centered care while maintaining a clean, orderly environment and promoting patient and family satisfaction.
Required qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, teamwork, basic medical terminology, and the ability to learn hospital computer systems.
Full time 36 hours/week | 6:45am - 7:15pm
The Patient Care Assistant (PCA) provides direct patient care and supportive services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). The PCA assists in delivering safe, effective, patient-centered care while ensuring a clean, orderly environment and demonstrating service excellence behaviors to promote patient and family satisfaction.
