Job summary

Valley Health System seeks staff to assist clinicians in direct and indirect patient care, performing EKGs and phlebotomy, and handling materials management in accordance with policies.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, with options for CMA/CNA/EMT credentials or current nursing student status, plus completion of an 8‑week PCA Fundamentals Program and BLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must meet one of the following: current hospital experience or valid certification from a Valley‑approved credentialing organization (AAMA, NCCT, AMT, NHA, AMCA, NAHP, NCMA) in CMA, CNA, Patient Care Technician, NJ Home Health Aide, or EMT.
• In lieu of experience, complete 8‑week PCA Fundamentals Program and obtain BLS within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist in direct patient care including EKGs and phlebotomy.
• Support materials management and maintenance per procedures.
• Collaborate with professional staff to meet patient care needs across age groups.
