Job summary

The Valley Hospital-Paramus is seeking staff to assist clinical teams by performing EKGs, phlebotomy, and patient-care support in a night shift capacity. Responsibilities include materials management and adherence to hospital policies.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and relevant certifications (CNA/MA or NHA/AMT/NCMA) with BLS; prior hospital experience not required. Training provided, benefits listed in the job posting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must meet one of: recent hospital experience; active CNA/MA/NCT/AMT/NCMA/NHA/NAHP/NCMA certification; or nursing student with Fundamentals of Nursing and BLS within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist professional staff in direct and indirect patient care including EKGs and phlebotomy.
• Assist in materials management and equipment maintenance as directed.
• Maintain compliance with approved policies and procedures and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
