Heritage Valley Beaver is seeking a part-time Patient Care Associate for the Psychiatric Unit. The role involves delivering basic patient care under RN supervision, assisting with daily living activities, and maintaining patient safety and comfort. Evening and weekend rotations may be required.

The position offers a sign-on/retention bonus totaling $1,500 and requires a high school diploma, BCLS certification, and excellent customer service. CNA experience is preferred.

SIGN ON/ RETENTION BONUS - Totaling $1,500 for Full-Time Patient Care Associates

*Bonus Eligible* Department: Psychiatric Unit
Work Hours: Part time position. 20 hours per week for day and evening coverage. 4- or 8- hour shifts, weekend and holiday rotations as required.

Provides basic patient care for the psychiatric patient appropriate to the age, culture, and developmental needs of the patient and under the direction of a registered nurse. Provides assistance with daily living tasks as appropriate.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent. Excellent bedside manner and customer service skills. BCLS.

Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.

Preferred

Previous nursing assistant experience on a medical/surgical or psychiatric unit. Computer skills. Certified nurse assistant.
