Heritage Valley Beaver in Beaver, PA is seeking a Full-Time Patient Care Associate to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a nurse. The role includes assisting with daily living activities, vital signs, and ensuring patient safety, with rotating 12-hour shifts and weekends/holidays.

Required: high school diploma or equivalent, excellent bedside manner, and strong customer service and computer skills.

Qualifikationen

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Excellent bedside manner and customer service & computer skills.
• Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in HR policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.
• Preferred: nursing assistant program, CNA, BCLS certification.

Aufgaben

• Provides direct patient care appropriate to age, culture, and developmental needs under direction of the Professional Nurse.
• Assists with daily living tasks and patient safety, including vital signs, ambulation, and turning.
• Obtains 12-lead EKG, sets up respiratory equipment, glucometer monitoring, and catheterization when indicated.
