Mercy is hiring a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to support individualized patient care under supervision by an RN or LPN. You will work within a collaborative team to help patients reach their highest level of wellness and perform designated clinical procedures and essential non-clinical duties.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (CNA/CPTC or enrollment in a healthcare program is acceptable). Mercy provides 175 hours of training within orientation and requires BLS within 1 month of

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or enrolled in Mercy training program.
• BLS certification required within one month of hire.
• PCA competencies to be completed within 3 months of hire.
• No prior experience required for PCA position.
• 175-hour training provided during new hire orientation to meet state requirements.
