Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support certification within 6 months of hire.
• PCA/PCT diploma with 6 months to 1 year of healthcare experience OR Nursing Fundamentals level 1 coursework in lieu of diploma/certification.
• Evidence of Nursing Fundamentals coursework or Nursing Assistant training completion OR PCA/PCT/Home Health Aide/CMA experience.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications per American Heart Association requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide basic care to acutely ill patients.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
• Perform EKGs and venipuncture as directed by the Registered Nurse.
