Qualifications

• Accredited High School Diploma or GED.
• EKG and Phlebotomy certificates.
• BCLS certification and computer competency required.
• PCA/PCT/CNA certification preferred.
• Infection control certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Administers total patient care and assists with daily living activities.
• Transfers patients and positions them; supports ambulation.
• Takes vital signs, documents in EMR, and notifies medical staff of changes.
• Performs wet/dry dressing changes and basic nursing procedures under supervision.
• Maintains unit cleanliness, supplies, and patient safety throughout shifts.
• Assists with HIV testing, data entry, and lab data transmission.
