Mercy is seeking a Patient Care Associate/Patient Care Technician to assist in individualized patient care under the direction of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. You will join a team focused on achieving the patient’s highest level of wellness, including vital signs, mobility, meals, and daily cares.

The role offers a $1,500 sign-on bonus for full-time positions, with training through an accredited program and a clear career ladder toward advanced PCA roles.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma, GED, or CNA/CPTC.
• No prior experience required.
• Willingness to participate in Mercy training programs.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs and document into EMR.
• Assist with meals, bathing, toileting, ambulation and mobility.
• Clerical support duties as needed.
• Advancement through the career ladder to PCT and beyond.
