Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join the team at 3 Dove Ave. Under the direction of a registered nurse, you will assist in clinical support functions to promote a safe, compassionate patient care environment.

The position requires assisting with patient care activities including vital signs, EKGs, meals, mobility, and documentation. A High School Diploma (preferred), BLS, and healthcare experience (1-2 years) are requested, with a 36-hour work week and onsite location.

Qualifications

• Ability to multitask and handle stress effectively.
• Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology.
• Demonstrated typing skills and computer experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care-related duties and clinical functions as assigned, including vital signs, EKGs, bathing and sanitary needs.
• Assist RNs and physicians with exams and treatments as required.
• Stock patient rooms and ensure equipment is ready and clean.
• Document patient information and assist with feeding and mobility.
• Communicate with nursing staff regarding patient care and conditions.
• Receive and direct Medical Staff, patients, and visitors.
