Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Per Diem Nursing Assistant to assist patients with activities of daily living under licensed personnel guidance. The role includes taking vital signs, documenting in the EMR, and supporting patient comfort and safety on-site at 75 Francis Street.

The position requires a High School Diploma (preferred), BLS certification, and relevant experience. The candidate should be able to assist with mobility and basic care tasks while maintaining compassionate patient

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Strong patient/customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Proficient computer skills to work with EMR.

Responsibilities

• Performs vital signs, weights/heights, intakes, and outputs with accuracy.
• Completes documentation in the medical record as required.
• Interacts with patients and their families effectively.
• Helps patients with basic hygiene tasks (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding).
• Assist with turning/repositioning and moving between bed and wheelchair.
• Listens to health concerns and reports them to nurses.
