Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s is seeking a Rotating shift role in Burnet Campus within the Vascular Access Team. Full-time, 0.9 FTE, 36 hours weekly, location Burnet Campus. Provides care under supervision and supports patient transport and daily living activities.

Responsibilities include Plan of Care, documentation, and collaboration with RN and staff to ensure safety and quality care. Requires CPR certification and relevant state registry credentials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent AND one of the following requirements.
• Completion of medical/surgical or equivalent clinical rotation from ACEN, CCNE or NLN CNEA accredited institution.
• Listed on Ohio STNA registry or Ohio CNA (If CNA is in another state, must reciprocity within 180 days).
• Listed on Ohio or National Emergency Medical Services Registry.
• 1+ years of patient care experience within the last three years.
• Requires training in CPR and maintenance of certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan of Care - Provide approved care of assigned patients and assist in implementation under supervision.
• Supervise and assist patients with activities of daily living and developmentally appropriate activities.
• Assist co-workers after completion of own duties; help with patient transport and 1-on-1 observation as needed.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent AND one of the following
