Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• CNA certification in state of practice required for new hires and transfers; Tucson market rule applies.
• Excellent organizational, human relations, and communication skills.
• Basic ECG interpretation knowledge or training is required or expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and basic patient care.
• Collect specimens and data (vital signs, I/O) and document in medical records.
• Report abnormalities to licensed professionals and communicate patient status for continuity of care.
• Perform procedures and use equipment under supervision, including ECG-related tasks.
• Support reception/clerical duties to ensure department efficiency.
• Maintain patient records, chart forms, and supplies; process physician orders in EMR.
