Prime Healthcare Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago, IL is seeking a Patient Care Assistant for the Night shift. The role supports patients with activities of daily living and basic nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Qualifications include phlebotomy and EKG certifications preferred, BLS within 30 days, knowledge of medical terminology, and at least six months in an acute care setting. CNA certification and a high school diploma are required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Current Phlebotomy certification upon hire, preferred.
• Current EKG certification upon hire, preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.
