Job summary

Banner Health in Greeley, CO is seeking a Certified Patient Care Assistant (PCA/CNA) to float among Northern Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, Banner Fort Collins Medical Center and Banner North Colorado Medical Center - Loveland Campus. The role includes routine patient care, ADL assistance, and complete charting in the electronic medical record.

Schedule: Full Time | 36 Hours/Week, three 12-hour shifts, 6pm-6:30am. Weekend rotations with differential pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in state of practice is required for new hires and transfers.
• 1 year of medical clerical experience preferred; hospital or physician office setting, or customer service experience.
• Excellent organizational skills and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance in activities of daily living and promotes patient health.
• Collects patient data including vital signs and input/output.
• Recognizes and reports health status changes to a licensed professional.
• Performs procedures and assists with unit responsibilities under supervision.
• Performs receptionist/clerical duties to support department operations.
• Maintains patient records and documentation in the EMR.
• Manages supplies and equipment; tracks usage and replenishment.
• Assists with patient transport and OR room turnover as needed.
• Interacts with staff, patients, families and physicians.
