Job summary

UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital in Longmont, CO is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) - Nurse Aide to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a nurse or healthcare provider. The role includes gathering vital signs, assisting with daily living activities, and supporting a safe, efficient patient environment.

Positions are on-site with no hybrid/remote option. Night shifts require full-time hours; daytime and PRN options are available.

Qualifications

• Provide direct patient care under supervision.
• Ability to measure vital signs and assist with daily activities.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate professionalism and willingness to precept new staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct care includes gathering vital signs, glucose, and intake/output.
• Assist patients with ADLs and mobility as needed.
• Keep patient area stocked, clean, and orderly.
• Partner with nurses and healthcare providers to ensure safety and quality.
