Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Health care specialty training preferred.
• Obtain BLS certification within sixty (60) days of employment or transfer to position.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsabilités

• Take vital signs and monitor intake/output (as assigned).
• Perform EKGs and glucometry as directed by licensed personnel.
• Phlebotomy and specimen collection as needed.
• Document care provided and follow treatment plans.
• Assist in patient mobilization and ensure comfort and safety.
• Float to other units per hospital policy when required.

Connaissances

BLS certification within 60 days

Basic computer skills

Ability to lift and mobilize patients

Formation
