Job summary

Shriners Children’s is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to assist in patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse in our San Francisco area locations. The role includes direct patient care, routine tasks, and compassionate interactions with patients and families.

Applicants should hold a High School Diploma or GED, an active CNA license, or have at least one year of nursing assistant experience with BLS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required or Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA).
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required or must be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the delivery of patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Provides direct patient care and performs routine tasks as assigned.
• Must consistently demonstrate caring and appropriate behavior when interacting with patients and families.
• Assists with wound and skin care, keeps unit and work areas stocked, and provides delegated nursing care activities as appropriate.

One year of pediatric experience

Pay Range

The pay range for for this position $25.71 - $36.30/hour. Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
