Job summary

Spaulding Rehabilitation Network, part of Mass General Brigham, is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCA). The role supports patient daily living activities, monitors vital signs, and collaborates with licensed personnel in a high‑quality rehabilitation setting.

A $750 sign-on bonus is offered, with pathways for mentorship, tuition reimbursement, and career growth. You will assist with bathing, dressing, eating, and basic hygiene, while documenting care and communicating concerns to nurses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor?s level education not required beyond high school; relevant coursework helpful.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Strong patient/customer service skills.
• Proficient with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, eating).
• Take and record vital signs (temperature, BP, pulse, respiration).
• Complete documentation in the medical record.
• Interact with patients and families effectively.
• Help with hygiene tasks and mobility (turning, repositioning).
• Report health concerns to nurses.
