PACU consists of 111 bays caring for post-op patients recovering from anesthesia before moving to an inpatient unit.

Working under the direction of licensed personnel, assists patients with activities of daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and eating. Also assists with taking patients' temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No
Licenses and Credentials: BLS Certification (preferred), Certified Medical Assistant (preferred), Emergency Medical Technician - Basic (preferred), Nursing Assistant (preferred)
Experience: 1-2 years in patient care/elder care (preferred)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to follow instructions, knowledge of medical terminology, strong customer service skills, ability to lift up to 35 pounds, proficient with electronic medical records.
