Job summary

Qualifications

• Education/Licensure: High School diploma or GED; CNA or CMA certification preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: BLS from hospital-based AHA program; other unit-specific certificates as required.
• Work Experience: 1 year clinical experience preferred.
• Skills/Knowledge: SAMA certification within 90 days of hire; EKG and/or Phlebotomy competency validation within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Support patient care activities under the supervision of a registered nurse in clinic and inpatient units.
• Perform basic patient care tasks and utilize medical terminology, communication, organization, and PC skills.
• Adhere to patient safety measures and maintain professional effectiveness in daily duties.
