Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CNA certification required.
• BLS and CPI must be obtained within 30 days from hire.
• Hospital telemetry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports the plan of care as delegated by staff nurse within scope of skills verification.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment in the patient care area.
• Provides care based on physical, psychosocial, educational, safety and related criteria for patients of varying ages.
• Communicates patient care needs effectively with patients, families and staff, including multi-disciplinary teams.
• Completes documentation of patient-related tasks.
• Adapts approach to the specific patient population and respects privacy and communication preferences.
