Responsibilities

• Support nursing by conducting patient care activities in the Emergency Department.

Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking aPatient Care Assistant to work with ourteam in the EmergencyDepartment.
The PatientCare Assistantworks in asupporting role to nursing by conducting patient care activities. Applicants provide direct and indirect non-professional nursing careunder nursing or medical supervision.Primarily this includes but is not limited to performing duties such as cleaning, taking vital signs, obtaining lab specimens, charting, escorting patients, assisting with activities of daily living, managing clerical dutiesand ordering and receiving supplies.
To be considered, candidates must provide documentation of an 80%or higher score on the Medical Terminology exam.
