Job summary

Trinity Health Muskegon is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care under the direction of a registered nurse. You will help with hygiene, daily living activities, and support quality care in a collaborative team.

The role includes responding to patient call lights, assisting with showers, mobility, and transporting patients for procedures or discharge. It requires a High School diploma or equivalent and CNA or related experience; weekends/holidays

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA or 6 months direct PCA/Nurse Tech experience, or completion of at least 1 clinical rotation, or PCA program enrollment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient call lights or by rounds.
• Assist patients with personal hygiene including showers, oral care, dressing.
• Transport patients for procedures, transfers or discharge.
• Maintain a clean and uncluttered patient room environment.
