Job summary

Trinity Health Muskegon is seeking a Night Shift Patient Care Assistant (PCA) for a full-time role. The position includes 72 hours per pay period, with shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., weekends and holidays scheduled per the CBA. The PCA will support RN-directed care, assist with hygiene, activities of daily living, and patient comfort.

The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care and collaboration within our care team, ensuring safety and dignity for every patient we serve.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CNA or 6 months direct PCA/Nurse Tech experience, or one clinical rotation.
• Enrollment in Trinity Health Muskegon PCA program.

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient call lights for assistance or by rounding.
• Provide or assist patients with personal hygiene including showers, oral hygiene and dressing/undressing.
• Transports patients as needed for procedures, transfers or discharge.
• Maintains a clean and uncluttered environment in patient rooms.
