Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• CPR training and patient care skills are expected.
• Candidates may need State Tested Nursing Assistant training or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic direct patient care as delegated by clinical staff.
• Measure vital signs and monitor patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living and comfort measures.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and stock supplies as needed.
• Communicate patient observations to the RN promptly.
• Follow delegation rules and hospital policies.
