Job summary

Prime Healthcare Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, IL, is seeking a Patient Care Assistant for Telemetry. The role supports patients with daily living activities and basic nursing tasks under RN supervision, in a 3-12 hour shift schedule with daytime hours.

Preferred candidates hold Phlebotomy and EKG certifications, BLS, and have six months of acute care experience. CNA certification and a high school diploma are required. Sign-on bonus up to $5,000.00 is available.

Qualifications

• Current Phlebotomy certification upon hire, preferred.
• Current EKG certification upon hire, preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.

Schedule: Full Time Days, 7:00am - 7:30pm, 3-12-hour shifts
