Job summary

Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, IL seeks a Patient Care Assistant to support the Telemetry unit. You will assist with ADLs, provide basic nursing care under RN supervision, and help maintain a safe environment on shift.

Prerequisites include CNA certification, High School Diploma, and preferred phlebotomy/EKG/BLS credentials. This full-time day position offers a generous sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current Phlebotomy certification upon hire, preferred.
• Current EKG certification upon hire, preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), State approved Certification required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Schedule: Full Time Days, 7:00am - 7:30pm, 3-12-hour shifts

Facility: Prime Healthcare Mercy Medical Center

Location: Aurora, IL, 60506

Sign on bonus: Up to $5,000.00

Responsibilities
