The Cardiology Access unit is in search of a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Patient Care Assistant I (PCA). This individual must be able to provide Day and Night schedule, and coverage on rotating weekends and holidays.
Ellison 11 is a thirty-six bed Cardiology Unit, located in Boston, MA. Staff on this unit specializes in the care of patients with acute coronary syndromes, arrhythmias, heart failure and other vascular diagnoses. Most patients on this unit require coronary or peripheral procedures, either diagnostic or interventional. Patients who require electrophysiology studies or procedures may also be admitted to this unit.
Days (7am-7pm) and Nights (7pm-7am)
Mandatory weekend shifts every month.
Holiday rotating schedule.
Working under the direction of licensed personnel, assists patients with activities of daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and eating. Also assists with taking patients' temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.

High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred Certified Medical Assistant [National Certification] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic [Massachusetts] - Massachusetts Office of Emergency Medical Services preferred Nursing Assistant [LNA - New Hampshire] - New Hampshire Board of Nursing preferred.
Experience working in patient care/elder care 1-2 years preferred.
