Job summary

HSHS St. Mary's Hospital Medical Center in Green Bay, WI is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to join the Medical unit. This role supports nursing staff in a fast-paced environment, focusing on compassionate patient care and safety.

The ideal candidate has CNA/PCT credentials or equivalent experience, with BLS within 30 days, and will work 20 hours per week on PM shifts, including every other weekend. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • 1 year nursing assistant or Patient Care Assistant experience; or 6 months nursing assistant experience with certification.
  • CNA or PCT certification in state of practice required with 6 months experience; not required if more than 1 year experience.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing support on the Medical/Surgical unit.
  • Assist nurses and care team with patient needs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Support patient safety, comfort, and dignity during care activities.
