Job summary

SVG HSHS St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, WI seeks a Patient Care Assistant for the Oncology unit to support nursing care and patient-focused duties in a fast-paced environment.

The role is 16 hours per week on the day shift, every other weekend. Requirements include CNA or PCT certification with BLS within 30 days; a high school diploma or GED is preferred and relevant nursing assistant experience is valued.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
  • 1 year nursing assistant or Patient Care Assistant experience; or 6 months nursing assistant or Patient Care Assistant experience and certification as indicated below.
  • Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) or Patient Care Technician (PCT) in the state of practice is required with 6 months experience as noted above. Certification is not required for those with greater than one year experience.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) is required within 30 days upon hire.

Responsibilities

  • Scheduled Weekly Hours: 16.
  • Provides nursing support on the Oncology unit and assists the nursing team in delivering patient-centered care.

Pay Range: $18.00 - $25.20 A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education. HSHS St. Vincent Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to join our Oncology unit.
