HSHS St. Joseph's Hospital, Highland, is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to join our Medical-Surgical team. You will support nursing staff with bedside care and patient comfort in a busy hospital setting.

The ideal candidate has a HS diploma or GED and 1 year of PCA or nursing assistant experience (or 6 months with certification). BLS is required within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year nursing assistant or PCA experience; or 6 months nursing assistant or PCA experience with certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with bedside care and patient support in a hospital setting.
• Provide compassionate care to patients in Medical-Surgical unit.

Pay Range: $17.50 - $24.50 A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.

Hospital Sisters Health System is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to join our team, serving as a support resource to our dedicated nursing staff committed to providing the highest quality care to our patients. Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven caregivers, looking for an opportunity to deliver bedside care and support to patients in a hospital-based environment.

• Schedule: 36hrs/wk, Nights, 7p-7a
• Facility: St. Joseph's Hospital Clinic
• Location: Highland, IL

Education Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.

Experience Qualifications

• 1 year nursing assistant or Patient Care Assistant experience; or 6 months nursing assistant or Patient Care Assistant experience and certification as indicated below.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) or Patient Care Technician (PCT) in the state of practice is required with 6 months experience as noted above.
• Certification is not required for those with greater than one year experience.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) is required within 30 days upon hire.
